How-to use a specific IP Address on a robot

Set-Up on a Wireless Network

To assign a specific IP address to a robot, you will need to use a DHCP reservation connected to the robot's MAC address. To facilitate this, the MAC address for each robot is available under  Util > Network > Network info > Wireless.

Using an Ethernet Connection?

If you are wishing to connect via Ethernet instead of WiFi, then the robot's MAC address can be found using Util > Network > Network info.

Having trouble?

Another approach would be to use a separate WiFi SSID with it’s own network subnet specifically for robots so that the robot(s) can be managed separately by IP subnet instead of by individual address.
