Troubleshooting: Can't find robot during session setup

Problem: I can see the Avatar option, but not my robot on the start your session screen.

Solution

  1. Please check to make sure your robot is on our current software version . How-to check your robots software version

  2. Also check your devices being used with the robot if they are on our current software version. If the Robokind Companion app is on the incorrect software version, please see for update instructions.

  3. Please run a network test from the companion app and ensure no tests failing. If the network tests pass (not including Support Server), please continue.

  4. Please reboot the robot using the reset button in the back of the robot. After it reboots run a network test. Utilities - Network - Test Network. If the network tests pass (not including Support Server), please continue.

  5. Please enter a support ticket at http://support.robokind.com with the serial number of the robot and the e-mail address of the user having difficulty so that we can verify the account structure and itinerancy settings for the user account and robot.
