Robot Power & Battery Installation

Learn how to install your robot’s battery

Instructions

Required materials: 1 R25 robot, 1 Philips head screwdriver (provided), 1 R25 Robot Battery

Robot Power Tips:

  • A robot can be restarted or powered down from the chest Power menu, or for emergencies, there is a reset switch on the back of the robot which can be pressed with a pointed object such as a paper clip or pen.

  • Depending on the amount of robot activity and the condition of the battery, robots can run on battery power for 30-60 minutes. To avoid possible lesson interruptions, most customers keep their robots connected to power during lessons.

  • The robot battery will charge, even if the robot power switch is in the off position. It is not necessary to unplug the robot when the battery is at a 100% charge.

  • If placing a robot into storage for more than 1 month, we recommend removing the battery.
