Introduction:
RoboKind has created our new Classroom quick report to allow teachers and administrators to quickly assess the progress of the overall classroom, as well as individual students within the classroom.

Student Quick Report
A new Student Quick Report is now available using the report button in the actions column of the student list.
Click the Student Quick Report button in the actions column of the student for which you would like to display a summary of the students activity.
The Module usage chart shows the number of lessons that a student has taken.
The Lesson Runs Per Week chart on the right can help to quickly gauge a students activity level in the program over the past 15 weeks.
Hover with the mouse over individual data bars or points in the line chart to see additional details:
Click on either the Module Usage or the Lesson Runs Per Week chart in order to drill down and expand the students mastery level summary across all modules. Hovering on individual lessons will display additional details about the students attempts on a given lesson.
Note that the student quick reports are intended as a quick and convenient means of assessing a students progress and identifying next steps, and is not intended as a tool to aggregate results across a classroom or an organization. To display aggregated results, contact a member of your organization in the administrative role who can use the Generate Report button to create a data file that can be manipulated for various applications.
Classroom Quick Report:
The classroom quick report is available to administrators, managers, teachers, and aides.
Teachers and aides will only have access to classrooms to which they have been assigned
Use the chart button on the right side of any classroom to expand the report.
Time Frame Filter:
Below the name of the classroom, you can select the time period for the summary charts, where the default is 3 months. Note that certain statistics
Classroom Summary:
A selection of high-level statistics for all students in the classroom over the selected time period.
Lesson Runs, Average Lesson Score, Cumulative Lesson time are calculated based on the selected time filter.
Number of Active Students includes the count of students who have had at least one lesson within the selected time period.
Number of enrolled students is based on the current immediate point in time, and will not change regardless of which time filter is applied. Adding or removing students from the classroom will immediately affect this number.
Summary Usage Charts:
Module Usage (Chart on the left): A visual summary showing lessons taught by module during the selected time period. For example, an emphasis on conversational modules or otherwise will be evident using this chart, and might reveal opportunities if many students are known to have needs in other modules.
Lesson Runs (Chart on the right): A visual summary showing lessons taught during the selected time period. Each teacher / classroom will have their own expectations given the number and the needs of the students, so the intended takeaway is to visualize if lesson volumes are increasing or decreasing over time.
Teacher Summary:
Brief high-level statistics for the instructor/teacher(s) in the classroom.
Lessons Taught, Students Achieving Skill Mastery, and Cumulative Lesson Time are high level statistics to assess the level of activity in using the program within the selected classroom.
This is not intended for the purposes of comparing efforts between teachers, only for awareness to confirm which instructors are active within the classroom.
Since teachers can be assigned to multiple classrooms, do not assume that these statistics represents the overall activity by a given instructor/teacher.
Student Summary:
For each student who has completed one or more lessons within the past 8 weeks, a summary card for each student.
Count of lessons started, last lesson date, and cumulative lesson time are metrics used to help quickly assess a students participation in the program.
Student mastery progress counts lessons where students have earned mastery stars by meeting the mastery criterion for each lesson. This is intended as a metric to celebrate progress with individual students, but is not useful or recommended for comparing students with other students.
In the Lesson Time by Week chart, the data bars are color coded as follows: 1 to 30 minutes of lesson time weekly - red, 31 to 59 minutes weekly, yellow, and 60 plus minutes weekly, green. If an organization has different established goals for lesson time per week for specific students, the color coding can be disregarded.
It is important to frequently review these cards and to identify if certain students are not receiving the desired amount of curriculum.
As a general recommendation, RoboKind suggests 60 minutes of lesson time per student per week.
Inactive Student Summary:
For each student who has not completed one or more lessons within the past 2 weeks, a card showing the name of the student, and the date of their last lesson (if any). The purpose of these cards is to serve as a reminder that a student is not actively participating in the program.
If a student is no longer part of the classroom or organization, use the menu button in the top right-hand corner of the card to edit or deactivate the student. On the edit student page, an administrator or teacher can change the classrooms to which a student is assigned.
