Release Information

Update to the RoboKind Companion App Version 3.2:

  • Added new menu items in the Facilitator sidebar menu:

    • Pause - Immediately pauses the lesson.

    • Restart Lesson Section - lesson will resume starting at the beginning of the section in which it was paused.

    • Previous Lesson Section - A way of jumping back to previous sections of the lesson. If already at the first section of the lesson, it will restart the lesson at the first section.

  • Bug fixes & improved stability

  • Fixes & flow improvements to specific lessons

Known Issues

  • Using the iPad power button during a lesson may necessitate restarting the companion app on tablets. We recommend instead using the home button to change focus to a different application.

  • Loss of iPad network connection may necessitate restarting the companion app on tablets after connection is restored.

  • If two teachers are sharing one tablet and the first teacher’s connection is still active, the second teacher may need to do a reset on the robot before a connection will be allowed.
