This guide provides documentation for RoboKind’s central.robokind.com platform which includes support for our Robots4Autism learning platform and robots.

Account Setup

As a teacher or aide, you will receive an e-mail from auto@robokind.com when your RoboKind account is ready for use. You will be required to click on the link to set your password. If you are having trouble getting registered, see our troubleshooting steps at Troubleshooting password reset not received or not working

It is recommended that all users add auto@robokind.com to their safe senders list in their local e-mail program and any other e-mail filtering software to ensure consistent and timely delivery of these e-mails.

Roles and Permissions

After logging into your account, you can see your assigned role in the upper left of the side bar.

If you will need to be routinely adding students, teachers, or classrooms to the system, then discuss with your point of contact at the organization to determine if you have been setup with the needed level of permissions.

Classroom Management

Click on the Classroom Management side bar button to see a list of classrooms to which you have been assigned.

  • Click on the name of the classroom to view, and if available, edit student assignments

  • To add student(s), check the box(es) under Available Students, click Add to Classroom, and click Save Classroom.

  • To remove student(s), check the box(es) under Classroom Students, click Remove from Classroom, and click Save Classroom.

  • The Assigned Teachers tab will show you which teacher(s) are assigned to the classroom. Contact your organizational point of contact for RoboKind if this needs to be updated.

Student Management:

Click on Manage Students in the side bar and then on the name of the student to view student details.

The student details page is read only to teacher and aid roles.

Student Quick Report

A new Student Quick Report is now available using the report button in the actions column of the student list.

Click the Student Quick Report button in the actions column of the student for which you would like to display a summary of the students activity.

  • The Module usage chart shows the number of lessons that a student has taken.

  • The Lesson Runs Per Week chart on the right can help to quickly gauge a students activity level in the program over the past 15 weeks.

  • Hover with the mouse over individual data bars or points in the line chart to see additional details:

  • Click on either the Module Usage or the Lesson Runs Per Week chart in order to drill down and expand the students mastery level summary across all modules. Hovering on individual lessons will display additional details about the students attempts on a given lesson.

Note that the student quick reports are intended as a quick and convenient means of assessing a students progress and identifying next steps, and is not intended as a tool to aggregate results across a classroom or an organization. To display aggregated results, contact a member of your organization in the administrative role who can use the Generate Report button to create a data file that can be manipulated for various applications.

The customer resources page consists of documents containing curriculum and parent resource documentation. Please read and utilize these documents in teaching efforts, but do not share or post these copyrighted materials without permission.

Help Menu

The final sidebar menu entry for help will link you to our www.robokind.com/support page which has documentation and troubleshooting information, as well as a contact us link at the bottom of the page.
