Unboxing your robot

In this video you will see how to unbox your robot when you receive it and see an overview of the contents and materials that come with your robot.

...

Instructions

  1. Open the box or clam shell case that is inside the outer packaging.

If robot arrived with an inner box, cut the tape securing the Styrofoam lid and remove the lid using both cutout handles, pulling straight up will keep the Styrofoam from breaking
  2. Open the clam shell case in which the robot arrived. This is a permanent protective case in which your robot should be stored when not in use for more than a few days.

  3. The protective film on the touchscreen can be removed once the robot reaches it’s intended final destination.

  4. In your box, you will have 1 robot with protective head cover, a getting started guide, 1 battery, 1 power supply and power cable and 1 screwdriver for inserting the battery.

  1. When storing the robot, we recommend putting it in the plastic bag before placing it in the case. The plastic head protector is mainly needed during robot shipping and does not need to be retained.

For additional steps in the process, see Getting Started Guide - Robots4Autism.
